Ms. Ortega graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Psychology, and a minor in child development. She started her career teaching pre-k 3 & 4 at Beth David ECC, and then went into a private practice working alongside a behavioral therapist for kids on the autism spectrum and other developmental disorders for about eight years. She became the assistant director and worked in numerous school settings, shadowing, creating and modifying many behavior plans. She has had the opportunity to observe many different classroom settings and teaching styles; thus, giving her the advantage to see what works best for every individual child.<\/p>\n
